Neutered?

Our youngest son is Logan and he is the clown in the family. I had to share this and have to write it down so that I will be able to tell the story at his wedding. Yep, you bet it is blackmail material.

He came in from outside holding onto himself. I asked if there was something wrong with it. He said no, it's the lumps that I don't like. I said lumps? Can you show me? Of course he shows me his danglers and says, these lumps. I say, those are your testicles and ask what is wrong with them. He said that he wants to get rid of them because they hit him the leg when he runs and jumps.

I still can't see straight from the gales of laughter and tears streaming from my face. He of course got mad and told me to stop laughing at him. No can do Mr. You amuse me greatly.

Too darn busy

I am too busy to blog. I am never home and loving it. Been all over the country and even out of it a couple of times. Went to Silverwood and rode rollercoasters with my honey. Had a ton of fun. Off and running yet again. Please stay tuned, we will return shortly with your regularly scheduled programming.

College

OMG! I am going to the College today to do their testing things to find out what I want to be when I grow up. I am pretty sure that nursing will be on there. That is the last thing that I want to be. I admire nurses. That's got to be a pretty hard and depressing job a lot of the time. I think I would cry non stop and I don't like runny noses and red eyes (not sexy). Anyway, wish me luck. If that doesn't work, I could get some work done and work on 3rd Avenue. I think they would hire me at the Club Cigar Store.... What were you thinking? Geez people.

Update

I have nothing to say. It's raining. I am going to wash windows and sell some crap on Kijiji. Spent my entire paycheque (that I have yet to receive) on a new laptop for Dylan. Need one? They are teeny tiny and $329.98 at Costco. The mouse is marked down too to $24.97. I got a whole computer for just under $400.00. Away you go to Costco now :)

Damn!

Losing a friend really sucks. Losing a former boss sucks. Losing Les Higa, well, SUCKS! He was a great boss, a nice guy and someone I was proud to work for and with. I will miss him.

Uplifting thoughts?

The weather is so dreary, this sucks. I was in shorts and sandals all day and now I am going to have to pull out the fleece pajamas for bed and turn the heat back on. Southern Alberta weather is so maddening. Thinking warm and uplifting....

Hot chocolate
Warm sandy beaches
Hugs from the boys
Kisses from the furry boys (and girl)
Bras (well, they lift don't they?)
Lasagna
Fireplaces
Boob jobs (everyone is getting them)
Forklifts?

I'm bored. Can you tell?

Cancun.

I'm on Isla Mujeres, ROCK ON!!

Cancun kid

Xcaret costumes

I didn't like Cancun. Well not true.... I didn't like the atmosphere of Cancun. It's just not Mexico. How do I explain that? Mexico is everything that Cancun isn't. Cancun is commercialized, Americanized and too clean. Yep, I like the dirt that is associated with "real" Mexico. It's not perfection, you do see poverty. The locals are locals not people that have moved to work in the travel industry. I loved the beaches in Cancun but that was about it. I really don't think that I would go back. I would go back to Isla Mujeres or Playa del Carmen. I'm more about the experience and the authenticity of a place. Beach resorts are great but what do you learn about the country? Though the all inclusive alcohol rocks :)

I Belize I will have another Belikin

I am so wistful right now. The summer that I thought was here, is actually not. It's windy and chilly and I hate it. Makes me want to go back to Belize. We went with my parents and the boys just over two years ago. Kayden loved it and thought it was a blast. Logan didn't like much of anything but wasn't a total pain in the butt. The water is crystal clear and the beaches are white sand. There are no vehicles on the island, only golf carts. We went to Lamanai the ancient Mayan ruins. The food was awesome, especially the Mayan fish at Elvi's. YUM. The sand floor was a little odd in there though. Can you imagine that in Canada? LOL, they would be shut down.

They actually have to rake the sand because of the seaweed. There aren't any waves because there is a huge reef (second only to the Great Barrier Reed in Australia) that basically kills the waves 100 ft out or so. The snorkeling is amazing. I actually got to touch a manta ray. We saw a beautiful sea turtle. There were 8 of us in total on the boat and our group was made up of 6 people. You do the math, we basically had the boat to ourselves. I don't really rave about a lot of things but Belize is an exception. It was beautiful and I hope one day I can go back.

Belikin is the local beer. We drank a lot of it, along with some rum. Alright, a lot of rum :)

Second kick at the cat?

I don't kick cats. Well, not on a regular basis. I tried blogging not too long ago and found that I didn't really want a lot of people reading it. At the same time, if no one reads it, what is the point? We'll see how long this one lasts. Maybe not too long. Don't follow me, I don't want you know who to find me. HAHAHA!
